Dog Beds

Spoil your pets with these luxury dog beds. Give your pooch somewhere comfortable to sleep rather than the sofa.

Dogs need their own space too and having them sleep on your bed at night can disrupt sleep for everyone. So invest in a good quality dog bed and find a space in your room for it and everone will sleep a little better.

How to Choose the Best Dog Bed for your Pooch

When buying a dog bed there are some important factors to consider to make sure that you get the correct size and type of bed.

1. Size Matters. Buying the wrong size dog bed can make a big difference. Too small and your dog won't be able to stretch out properly, too large and they may feel a little insecure. So measure your dog first, from the tip of the nose to the tail, then choose a bed where they can just stretch out in.

2. Raised Dog Beds: A raised bed is better suited to long haired breeds as it helps prevent them from overheating.

3. Orthopedic Dog Beds: Older dogs can suffer from joint pain. In these situations a soft mattress isn't the best choice as it can be difficult for the dog to get in and out of. Orthopedic dog beds are better suited if your dog suffers from arthritis as they use firmer mattresses such as memory foam.

4. Odor Free Dog Beds: If your dog literally stinks then it may be time to look for an odor free dog bed instead. Normally filled with cedar these matresses can significantly decrease the amount of smell in your home.
